The Beaulieu America Company that established in 1978 was creating The Waverly Luxury Collection of area carpet. It became a desirable component of the most popular brands of quality carpeting, so it was a standard. The company started to product high-quality of Beaulieu carpet and rugs, an exclusive collection was both hand-made and hand-tufted. This design made oriental carpet more affordable and put them to top brand in market. To coordinate with all other Waverly fabrics and carpets The Beaulieu area carpet and rug line was developed.
The beauty of the original carpets and rugs was not lost with a Beaulieu area rug. Hand-made wool carpets that they have product were divide in three different qualities and sold with price from $400 to $1400 for either a 6x9 or a 9x12 in size. Beaulieu carpet made a branch in Canada. In this country, Beaulieu continued the tradition as the largest carpet-making with hand-made carpet.
